1.) Why did you want to become a writer?
I wanted to become a writer, because I feel like writing is a gift that God has given me, and I have a strong desire to reach others through my work.
2.) Has this always been your aspiration?
Yes, I became inspired to write when I was nine years old.
3.) What or whom inspires you when you’re writing?
I am inspired to write by individuals who pursued their passion to become an artist or a writer no matter what. Some of my inspirations include, Tyler Perry, Jennifer Hudson and Oprah Winfrey.
4.) How would you categorize your books, in what genre or genres?
I am only writing contemporary fiction right now, but I am planning to publish an inspirational poetry book in the near future.
5.) Do you have any advice for aspiring writers?
Yes, aspiring writers don’t give up on your dream, and remember to use the feedback you get regarding your work to enhance your future projects.
